Well done to our walkers!

Many congratulations to team 'Epsom Social Action' (James Tarbit, Fiona Drummond, Jane Race, Cllr Darren Dale) who successfully completed the 20-mile Round the Borough Walk on Saturday.

We came in at under 7hrs, and between us raised more than £1,000 for our chosen charities: lendwithcare.org and Epsom Medical Equipment Fund. 

Thanks to everyone who sponsored us, your money is going to two fantastic causes!

Round the Borough Walk - this Saturday

This Saturday a group of brave (foolish?!) walkers from Epsom Conservatives will be talking part in the Epsom 'Round the Borough Walk' - a 20 mile circuit around the Epsom & Ewell Borough boundary taking in sites such as Epsom Downs, the Epsom Racecourse, Nonsuch Park and The Hogsmill.

We will be walking in support of two of the charities Social Action is supporting in 2012; lendwithcare and the Epsom Medical Equipment Fund.  Check back on the blog next week to see how we did, or follow our Twitter feed during the event for live updates.
